Mr. Dang Thanh Hai, the General Director of Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Group (Vinacomin) had a working meeting on checking, surveying port system in Cua Ong area, working meeting with member units under Vinacomin as Cua Ong Coal Selection Company, Materials - Joint Stock Company, and Company for Logistics and Cam Pha Port.

Cam Pha Port (including coal harbors and the coal Transport-Store Company), Vinacomin to place a target to concentrate on rising executive capability for successful fulfilling 2015 plan.

Ending the year 2023 successfully has been a favorable and solid step for the collective of employees of Cam Pha Logistics and Port Company - Vinacomin to step forward to 2024 with strong beliefs, always being the leader in exchange and transportation work of the Vietnam coal and mineral industries Group (Vinacomin), applying the bright colors to production and business panorama of Vinacomin.

At the regular Press Conference of the Government on May 4, 2016, answering questions from journalists about the government’s viewpoint on planning and implementation plan of hydropower projects in Central Highlands region, Mr. Mai Tien Dung, Chairmen of Government Office affirmed: the Government has steered related ministries, sectors and localities to check, correct and supplement hydropower planning in Central Highlands region with a multipurpose target as power generation, flood control in rainy season and water supply for the lowland in dry season.

The conference on the operation and production of coal-fired power plants in the Northern region has just been held by Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) on the afternoon of June 19, 2023. There were 24 investors of coal-fired power plants in the Northern region in attendance, including the Power Generation Corporations 1, 2, 3 (EVN member units), Vinacomin Power Corporation, PetroVietnam Power Corporation, BOT investors and the investors of the independent power plants.

On December 10, 2019, Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee (PPC) issued a Decision on approval for  Huong Linh 4 Wind Power Company to invest in developing Huong Linh 4 Wind Power Project.

On February 22, in Yen Bai province, the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) and Project Management Board of Central Power Projects (CPMB) deployed to construct the two urgent transmission projects in the Northwest Region including Huoi Quang - Nghia Lo 220 kV transmission line; Nghia Lo 220 kV transformer substation and 220 kV transformation line from Nghia Lo to 500 kV Viet Tri transformer substation.

The Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) has just proposed to the Government and the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) to make the mechanisms for rapidly developing renewable energy projects in the Northern region to avoid the risk of electricity shortage in the near future.
