Vinacomin synchronously upgrades the dock warehouse system in Cam Pha region

 - Mr. Dang Thanh Hai, the General Director of Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Group (Vinacomin) had a working meeting on checking, surveying port system in Cua Ong area, working meeting with member units under Vinacomin as Cua Ong Coal Selection Company, Materials - Joint Stock Company, and Company for Logistics and Cam Pha Port.

 

 

According to the report of Cua Ong Coal Company, the Company is currently managing the main port of pouring coal for customers with ensuring the means getting in for coal receiving and getting out for coal delivering, as well as the area for loading and unloading imported coal with a capacity of 7,500-8,000 tons per day.

To carry out the direction of the Group, the Company already established a planning program on warehouse locations to meet exporting and importing coal to mix and process coal for thermal power plants and other customers.

At the same time, the Company focuses on environmental activities, not let the coal transportation, processing and selling affect the port area and objects in the territory ...

According to the report of Materials Joint Stock Company, due to a lot of changes in the local planning, the logistics ports of the Company in Cam Pha were also changed, among them, the port for transshipping oil from Hon Gai to Cam Pha needs to be reorganized in accordance with the planning program.

The company planned to invest in a logistics port in Km6 area of Cam Pha, but it could not be implemented due to changes in planning and logistics port in Vung Duc area will be expired until 2022 and withdrawn for other purposes of locality.

The Materials Joint Stock Company has researched and selected the location for a logistics port in Cua Ong port area and asked the Group, Cua Ong Coal Company to support and create conditions for the Company to complete the tasks to supply fuel for production of the units in Vinacomin.

Cam Pha Transport and Warehouse Company reported on investing in renovating and upgrading Chemical - Mong Duong port cluster, the planning of which is currently adjusting. This port cluster including an area of 8ha for port and 3.6ha for warehouse expects to be started in construction at January of 2020. At the same time, the Company will invest in a coal conveyor route from G9 coal storage to the Chemical port - Mong Duong.

Concluding the meeting, General Director Dang Thanh Hai emphasized that due to the change in the local planning, and increasing demand for imported and blended coal with around 25 million tons in 2020. Therefore, it is necessary to make planning to synchronously and modernly upgrade the system of ports and warehouses with ensuring the environmental requirements, and rearrange logistics and service depots of Material Joint Stock Company, to meet importing and mixing the coal in Cam Pha region, and activities of services and logistics.

In the long term, it is necessary to develop a draft of fundamentals, strategy for trading import coal of the Group in period of 2020-2030.
