In a mission to the Russian Federation (from September 19 to 23), Mr. Le Manh Hung - General Director of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) and the delegates had a visit and working meeting at the oil and gas fields blocks under the Rusvietpetro Joint Venture a joint venture between PVN and Zerubrezhneft, in the Russian Federation.

In the afternoon of December 25, in Hanoi, Mr. Duong Quang Thanh, the Chairman of the Member Council of Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) handed the Decision (Decision 445 / QD-EVN, December 25, 2019) to appoint Mr. Pham Hong Phuong, the Director of Power Project Management Board 1 for position of the Deputy General Director of EVN since January 1, 2020.

On October 6, 2015, in Hanoi, EVN NPC held a ceremony on celebrating 46-years anniversary (6/10/1969 - 6/10/2015) and announcing the Decision on appointment the Chairman cum General Director of the Corporation.

Minister of Industry and Trade Vu Huy Hoang has signed Decision to appoint Mr. Dang Hoang An, Deputy General Director to the General Director position of Electricity of Vietnam (EVN), replacing Mr. Pham Le Thanh who retires from  July 01st, 2015.

On Sep 25, 2014, the Minister of Industry and Trade Vu Huy Hoang has signed Decision No. 8568 / QD-BCT, on the appointment of General  Director of the Vietnam national Coal – Mineral Industries Holding Corporation (Vinacomin).

Vietnam Petroleum Group (PVN) informed on its portal that, at a working meeting with PV Power, PVN General Director Le Manh Hung has just agreed and supported this Corporation to invest in the renewable energy (wind and solar power) projects.

At January 04, 2018, in Da Nang city, the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) held the ceremony for announcing the Decision assigning and handing over position of EVNCPC Chairman and General Director to Mr. Vo Quang Lam, EVN Deputy General Director.

On December 01, 2014, at the headquarter of PetroVietnam (PVN) was held the ceremony on handing the decision to appoint Mr. Nguyen Quoc Khanh  to  the position of PVN Member Council  Member, General Director and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee.  

The Prime Minister has approved a decision for nominating Mr. Dang Hoang An, EVN General Director  to position of Vice Minister of Industry and Trade (MOIT).

On March 4 Morning, in Hanoi and 7 points of Online TV as Hai Phong, Ha Tinh, Quang Ngai, Ho Chi Minh City, Vung Tau, Ca Mau and Soc Trang, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) held a ceremony on publishing Decision to appoint the Member of the Member Council, General Director of PVN for Mr. Nguyen Vu Truong Son.

In the morning of October 04th 2012, Mr. Do Van Hau – General Director of PVN, Mr. Nguyen Vu Truong Son – Deputy General Director of PVN and the delegation of PVN visited and worked at PVE’s head office. According the working agenda, the delegation examined the production and business activities of PVE as well as problems that PVE has been facing in the current economic context.

According to the Vietnamese Government Decree No 98/2017/ND-CP issued at 18/8/2017 on the functions, tasks, authorities and sector structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT), the General Directorate of Energy (GDE - MOIT) will be separated into the Electricity and Renewable Energy, Petroleum and Coal, and Energy Saving and Sustainable Development Departments.

At the invitation of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong will pay an official visit to the Russian Federation from 5 to 8 September. 

The Industry and Trade Review’s My Dung interviewed Mr. Vyacheslav A. Pershukov, Deputy Director General – Director of Directorate for Scientific and Technical Complex of Russian Atomic Energy Cooperation (Rosatom) on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Da Lat nuclear research reactor’s restoration and expansion and the world atomic energy industry’s 60th anniversary.

On November 29, in Hanoi, within the framework of activities of the 45th Session of the ASEAN Council on Petroleum (ASCOPE), a handover ceremony of the function of ASCOPE General Secretary between National Petroleum Company of Thailand (PTT) and Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) was held. Dr. Tran Hong Nam, the Chairman of the Member Council of PetroVietnam Exploration and Production Corporation (PVEP), was honored to undertake the heavy responsibility of ASCOPE Secretary General for 2019-2024 Term.
