Mr. Dang Hoang An, General Director of EVN has been appointed to position of Vice Minister of MoIT

Mr. Dang Hoang An

Mr. Dang Hoang An was born in 1965 in Hung Yen province, but his native village in Hiep Hoa district, Bac Giang province.

Mr. Dang Hoang An has graduated from the University of Electrical Machines Plzen (Czech Republic) in 1988 with a degree in electrical system engineer. After that, he finished his Master of Asian Institute of Technology (AIT - Thailand) in 1997 with specialized in Electrical System Management and Business Administration in 2004.

Mr. An is a master of power system who was working many years and experiencing various positions in power sector such as Deputy Director of national power system dispatching centre (A0), Head of EVN Technical Power Network Department, Deputy Director of Electricity Transmission Company 1, Head of EVN Planning Department, EVN Deputy General Director, Member of the Member Council and General Director of EVN from July 2015.

Before power sector, Mr. An worked in the Institute of Industrial Planning and Design of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) from 1990 to October 1991, in the Institute of Scientific Management (Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment) from November 1991 to January 1993.
