Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee (PPC) has sent a document to the Prime Minister, asking permission for appraisal and supplementation of the Hoa Thang Solar Power Plant Project 3.2 into the power development planning of Binh Thuan Province.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) has approved additionally the Cam Lam  Vietnam Solar Power Project (SPP) into Khanh Hoa Power Development Planning in 2016-2025 period, with an outlook up to 2035. The Project has a capacity of 50 MW.

On June 30, 2019 in Gia Thanh commune, Gio Linh district, Quang Tri province, Licogi 13 Joint Stock Company held a ceremony for inaugurating LIG – Quang Tri solar power project (SPP).

The Bamboo Capital Group (BCG) - Copper Mountain Energy (CME) and Vietnam-Oman Investment Fund (VOI) Joint Venture recently held a ceremony for  inaugurating BCG-CME Long An 1 Solar Power Project (SPP), with a capacity of 40.6 MWp and average output of 57 GWh per year, has a total investment of VND 1,088 billion.

On June 25, 2019 in Hoa Hoi commune, Phu Hoa district, Phu Yen province, Phu Yen TTP Joint Stock Company held ceremony for inaugurating and putting into operation Hoa Hoi solar power project (SPP), with a capacity of 214MW, equivalent to 256 MWp .

At 10:45 AM of May 27, 2019, Da Nhim - Ham Thuan - Da Mi Hydropower Joint Stock Company (DHD) organized powering the floating solar power project (SPP) on reservoir of Da Mi hydropower plant (HPP).

On May 20, 2019, Cat Hiep solar power project (SPP) with a capacity of 49.5 MWp and average output of 70,000 – 80,000 kWh per year, the first SPP in Binh Dinh province was connected to the national power system for a commissioning operation.

On August 7, 2020  in Ninh Thuan province, Mr. Nguyen Tai Anh - Deputy General Director of  Electricity of Vietnam (EVN), Chairman of the Investor - level Acceptance Council of EVN and members of the Council have tested  and accepted and put into use the Phuoc Thai 1 solar power plant.

On October 28, 2019, at the headquarters of the French Development Agency (AFD) in Paris, France, was held a ceremony to sign the Credit Agreement for the Se San 4 Solar Power Project (SPP) between Mr. Nguyen Xuan Nam, Deputy General Director of Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) and Mr. Rémi Genevey, Director of Asia Department of French Development Agency (AFD).

At 9:00 am, on June 22, 2019, in Vinh Tan commune, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province, the Electricity of Vietnam Generating Corporation 3 (EVNGENCO 3) held a celebrating ceremony for the commercial power generation of Vinh Tan 2 solar power project (SPP).

After an over year construction in Ninh Thuan province, recently, the Bau Ngu project has been officially put into commercial operation.

  The solar power project with a capacity of 6.2 MW and an average annual output of 10.5 million kWh in Vinh Tan power center has been successfully synchronized with the national power system.

ABB has just inaugurated the solar power system with a capacity of 75kW in ABB Plant for High Voltage Equipment and Medium Voltage Electricity Distribution Solutions in Bac Ninh city. 

According to the information from Ha Tinh provincial people’s committee, Ministry of Industry and Trade has just approved the plan for adjusting and adding the power development plan in Ha Tinh province in the period of 2016 - 2025 with a vision to 2035- plan for the 110kV grid development with adding to it the Cam Hung and Son Quang solar power projects.

In the morning of June 12, 2019, the Duc Thanh Mui Ne Joint Stock Company held a ceremony for the inauguration and commercial operation of Mui Ne Solar Power Project (SPP) with a capacity of 40MWp.
