The Prime Minister has just have a suggestion to direct mechanisms for implementing Nam Dinh 1 BOT thermal power plant project.

On July 2, 2017, Ministry of Planning and Investment and Nam Dinh Provincial People’s Committee held a ceremony of handing over the investment certificate for Nam Dinh I BOT thermal power project (TPP).

On September 17, at Ky Anh Dist, Ha Tinh province, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) held the Inauguration of Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant (TPP). The Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung attended the opening ceremony and inaugurated.

On May 16, the Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung  attended the Ceremony and ordered to start construction of  Song Hau 1 thermal power plant (TPP).

Dung Quat Economic Zone Management Board has  announced the boundary location of Dung Quat Thermal Power Plant (TPP) in Son Tra, Tan Hy villages, Binh Dong commune, Binh Son district.

On January 31, the unit #1 of the Duyen Hai 1 TPP (622.5MW) was successfully synchronized to the National Power System.

At 18.00 on 23 May 2017, Unit#1 of Thai Binh1 Thermal Power Plant (TPP) has successfully connected to the National Power System.
