On June 21, 2017, in Hanoi, the European Union (EU) Delegation to Vietnam and Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) held the present ceremony of Vietnam Energy Partner Group (VEPG) with the participation of more than hundred of representatives from Vietnam government agencies and organizations of development partners, finance, private sector and NGO. This is an opportunity for development partners and MOIT to exchange viewpoints on development of energy sector in Vietnam.

At October 30 evening, in Ho Chi Minh city, PetroVietnam held a welcome ceremony for the first oil flow from the drilling rig H5 of the white rhino field managed by Hoang Long Company in join-venture with partners from Vietnam, US and Thailand. Vice Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai attended and spoke at the ceremony.

The EPCIC contract signing ceremony was held by Cuu Long Joint Operating Company and PTSC Mechanical and Construction Company (PTSC M&C) for developing Su Tu Nau oil field.

In the morning of January 3, 2019, in Hanoi, Vietnam Electricity of Vietnam(EVN) held a ceremony for announcing the decisions to appoint the positions of  Member of the Member Council, General Director and nominate the position of Deputy Secretary of EVN Party Committee to Mr. Tran Dinh Nhan.

Vinacomin Motor Industry Joint-Stock Company (VMIC) hold a contract signing ceremony and signed a contract with several Czech companies to manufacture a monorail conveyor system on the morning of December 19, 2013.

On December 11, 2020, in Hanoi, Korea Consortium and Trung Nam Group, signed Memorandum of Understanding in the energy sector. Accordingly, the Korea Consortium will support the Trung Nam Group in developing energy projects in Vietnam.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on February 14 cut the ribbon to inaugurate the Thai Binh Thermal Power Plant in the northern province’s Thai Thuy district.   

PVEP held a ceremony to welcome the first oil flow from Su Tu Nau (Brown Lion) and Su Tu Vang Tây Nam (Southwest Golden Lion) mines - 15.1 Lot in Ho Chi Minh city. Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai attended the Ceremony.

On November 29, 2014, PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) hosted the First Class Labour Medal Award and the HRD Process Platform Load-out & Hand-over Ceremony at its fabrication in Vung Tau City, Vietnam.

On 17 January 2014 afternoon, in Hanoi, Institute of Energy, World Vision Vietnam and Renewable Energy Research Center – Hanoi University of Science and Technology (RERC)  signed the project implementation agreement for Project number 4-V-055 – Integrated Sustainable Clean Energy Solutions for Vietnam, co-funded by EEP-Mekong and World Vision Australia.

On November 16, 2020, at the incoming gas intake in Long Hai town, Long Dien district, Baria-Vung Tau province, Vietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) held the welcoming ceremony to accept the first gas inflow from Sao Vang field in the Sao Vang - Dai Nguyet gas project to Nam Con Son 2 pipeline.
