On February 3, 2021, at Annual Shareholders’ Meeting in virtual format due to corona pandemic, Siemens bids farewell to Joe Kaeser after more than 40 years at the company, Mr. Roland Busch officially become a new President and CEO of Siemens AG.

Siemens AG President and CEO Joe Kaeser paid his first visit to Vietnam last week in order to strengthen and promote the successful cooperation and relationship between this world-leading technology company with one of the most dynamic economies in the world.

Within the framework of the 26th Conference of the participates in the Framework Convention of United Nations on Climate Change (COP26) taking place in the United Kingdom, under the witness of Vietnamese Prime Minister (PM) Pham Minh Chinh, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (RE) and BCG Energy signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Siemens Gamesa RE providing BCG Energy with equipment and technical solutions for wind power development in Vietnam.

Siemens has signed contracts worth €8 billion for high-efficiency natural gas-fired power plants and wind power installations that will boost Egypt’s power generation capacity by more than 50 percent compared to the currently installed base. The projects will add an additional 16.4 gigawatts (GW) to Egypt’s national grid to support the country’s rapid economic development and meet its growing population’s demand for power.
