The Prime Minister has approved the policy for investment in construction of the 500 kV lines Quang Tri – Doc Soi and Doc Soi – Pleiku 2 with a goal to strengthen transission capability of the 500 kV grid of the national power system, contribute to guarantee electricity supply for the souththern power system in period when this system could not be self-sufficient and optimize electricity generation - transmission in operating power national system.

The Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee (PPC) signed the Decision for agreeing the investment policy of the Son My LNG Terminal project and the investor of Son My LNG Terminal Co., Ltd. to implement this project.

Tra Vinh Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 1947/QD-UBND approving the investment policy for the Tra Vinh biomass power project, in Luu Nghiep Anh commune, Tra Cu district.

Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee (PPC) Tran Tien Hung has just signed Decision No. 3260/QD-UBND dated September 25, 2020 on the policy of investment in  HBRE Ha Tinh wind farm project. The project with a capacity of 125 MW (25x5 turbines), annual average generation of 350.357 GWh and a total investment level of 4,687.4 billion VND will be developed along Hoanh Son mountain range in the area of ​​wards and communes as Ky Phuong, Ky Lien, Ky Long, Ky Thinh, Ky Trinh (Ky Anh town) and Ky Lac (Ky Anh district).

Tra Vinh Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) has  approved a Decision for 3 investors to develop Hiep Thanh wind power project including 18 - 19 wind turbines with a total capacity of 78MW and investment of VND 3,370 billion in Hiep Thanh Commune, Duyen Hai Town. The project is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2020.

Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee (PPC) Vo Van Hung has just signed Decision No. 756/QD-UBND approving the adjustment of investment policy and the investor of the Huong Linh 3 wind power project.

On the morning of February 5, 2023, in the Conference on the Investment Promotion and Deployment of implementing the action plan of the Politburo Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW, happening in Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh province, Mr. Nguyen Hong Dien, the Minister of Industry and Trade (MOIT) handed the decision on approving the investment policy of Son My 2 Gas Power Project (CCGT) with a capacity of 2.2 GW and a total investment of 1.8 billion US$ to Vietnam AES Company. The project is developed in Binh Thuan province having a 20-year contract with the Vietnamese Government.

The Kontum Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No 256/NQ-UBND, 2/4/2021 on approving the investment policy for KN Ialy Kon Tum solar power project of Ialy Kon Tum Solar Power Joint Stock Company.

At the conference on investment promotion of Quang Binh province in 2021 held on January 17, Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Trinh Dinh Dung handed Vietnam Electricity (EVN) the Decision of the Prime Minister on approving the investment policy for Quang Trach 2 Thermal Power Plant Project. 

Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee (PPC) has just issued a decision on agreeing to the investment policy for Ia Boong - Chu Prong the wind power project with a capacity of 50 MW of Chu  Prong Renewable Energy Joint Stock Company.

Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee (PPC) has just approved the investment policy for two wind power projects with a total capacity of 150 MW including Ia Le1project (in Ia Le commune) with a capacity of 100 MW and average annual generation of 320.683 GWh, invested by Cao Nguyen 1 Wind Power Development JS Company with 4,021 billion VND and 50 MW Nhon Hoa 2 project  (in Chu Don commune) invested by Nhon Hoa 2 Energy JS Company with 1,400 billion VND.

Hanoi City People's Committee has just issued a Decision to approve the investment policy, and the investor for the Ung Hoa 220kV transformer station project and connection. The Hanoi City People's Committee selected the National Power Transmission Corporation as the Investor of the project.

Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee has just signed a Decision approving the policy of investment in Nam Binh 1 wind power project for Nam Binh Wind Power Company, with an investment of VND 1,023.9 billion. This project has a capacity of 30 MW, 25 years operating time.

The Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee has issued a decision on investment policy for two wind power prọects with a total capacity of 70 MW and an investment of more than 2,210 billion VND for VNM Investment Company Limited (Singapore) - a subsidiary of EDF Renewables (EDFR) under the French Electric Corporation (EDF).

On January 11, 2019 The Prime Minister issued the Decision to amend and supplement a number of articles of the Decision No. 11/2017 / QD-TTg of the Prime Minister dated April 11, 2017 on incentive mechanism for developing solar power projects in Vietnam. In which, there is modification of the regulations on electricity prices for the rooftop solar power projects.
