The investment policy for Hiep Thanh wind power project has been approved

The investors of this project are: Ecotech Vietnam Renewable Energy Joint Stock Company (Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi city); Janakuasa Pte Ltd (Singapore); Mr. Lam Minh, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi city (The Ecotech Tra Vinh Renewable Energy Joint Stock Company is expected to be established to carry out the project). This is the fourth wind power project approved for investment by Tra Vinh PPC.
Previously, Tra Vinh province has granted investment certificates for three wind power projects with the total designed capacity of 192MW, located in Truong Long Hoa commune (Duyen Hai town) and Dong Hai commune (Duyen Hai district). These projects are in the stage of implementation of appraisal procedures, approval of basic design for starting the construction.
According to the wind power development plan in Tra Vinh up to 2020, with a consideration to 2030 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Tra Vinh province will develop six wind power projects in 6 coastal accretion zones in Duyen Hai district and Duyen Hai town, including three projects in Truong Long Hoa commune, two projects in Hiep Thanh commune and one project in Dong Hai communes.
