Vinacomin concentrates on coal production and sale

At the online hand over to the next shift conference on coal production management in September, Mr. Dang Thanh Hai, General Director of Vinacomin required its member units to concentrate at highest level on coal production and business, strive for achievement of over 8.5% year plan with a 3 million ton crude coal production and a 3 million ton commercial coal sale.

According to the Vietnam National Coal-Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (Vinacomin), in the first three months of 2014, crude coal output came to an estimated 10.07 million tonnes, 26.7 percent of the year’s target and 95.92 percent of that in the same period last year. The corporation’s clean coal output was an estimated 8.73 million tonnes, 25.5 percent of the year’s target and 93.3 percent of that in the same period last year.
