The IХ International public forum-dialogue “Atomic Energy, Society, Safety-2014” will be held on April 10-11, 2014 in Moscow’s President Hotel. It is called for to become a discussion platform for representatives of Rosatom, enterprises, cities and municipalities that host nuclear facilities, non-government organizations, scientists and experts from Russia and other countries.
The main objective of the forum will be discussing social and ecological aspects of nuclear power development in Russia and in the world, exchange of experience in interaction of nuclear facilities with non-governmental organizations and local communities. The plenary sessions and round-table discussions will address approaches to the safe development of nuclear power, issues of nuclear, radiation and environmental safety, development of social sphere in nuclear-hosting cities, nuclear plant decommissioning problems and problems of the back-end of nuclear facilities lifecycle materials in use and resulted from the use of atomic energy.
International conference “Development of Design and Construction Technologies: From Idea to Reality” will be held for the first time. Organizers are looking forward to creating a new ground for experience exchange between specialists of leading engineering companies of Russia’s atomic and related industries in the sphere of development and application of modern design, construction and operation technologies of complex engineering projects. The conference will cover general approach and working principles of a today’s engineering company, main market challenges, along with Russian and foreign clients’ requirements to “full cycle companies” working results in the field of design and construction of complex engineering projects”.
There will be two thematic blocks organized for the participants: “Modern engineering; its solutions and capacities” and “Technological base of a today’s engineering company”. The first one will be meant for discussing problems of design, development and introduction of technical innovations, managing configuration, seriation, complex engineering projects’ construction process along with practical experience of designing and construction on a turnkey basis.
In the second block the participants will discuss issues connected with development and application of modern information designing and managing technologies while implementing complex engineering projects, creating IT-architecture and single information space of an engineering company; providing opportunity of managing information during all life cycle of a NPP power unit.
The conference is expected to become an annual event, attracting specialists of leading Russian and foreign engineering companies.
