Vietsovpetro has officially become a member of IMCA

Becoming a member of IMCA, Vietsovpetro will affirm its brand in external services in domestic and international markets.

In 2016 - 2019, Vietsovpetro participated in and wined the bids to provide PV GAS, Hoang Long - Hoan Vu JOC, PVEP POC, PVEP Block 01 & 02, KNOC investors... with ROV surveying services, so that  step by step confirmed the quality of services, as well as Vietsovpetro brand in the underground survey activities.

However, there was still a number of underground survey bidding packages that Vietsovpetro could not participate in, when the investors required the contractors to have the certificates issued by IMCA.

IMCA is a leading international association of the maritime industry, representing more than 800 members around the world in the oil and gas and renewable energy industries.

IMCA has a mission to improve the efficiency in the maritime industry by putting forth the technical rules and guidelines to improve the impeccability  in operation of its members.

IMCA provides services to 5 regions of the world including: Asia - Pacific, North America, Europe - Africa, Middle East - India and South America.

Recognizing the importance of developing external services in parallel with oil and gas seeking, exploring and exploiting activities of Vietsovpetro, and at the same time to enhance the competitiveness in finding the new domestic and foreign customers, the Shipping and Diving Service Enterprise a subsidiary of Vietsovpetro has prepared the required documents right in the beginning of 2019 and at November 18, 2019 applied to join the IMCA, and Vietsovpetro has officially become a member of IMCA since February 01, 2020.

As a member of IMCA, Vietsovpetro will receive the consultative issues from IMCA to effectively and professionally conduct the external and internal underground survey services.
