On the occation of visiting to Japan from 16 to 19 March, 2014, Vietnam and Japan gave a joint statement on the establishment of a deep strategic  partnership for peace and prosperity in Asia. In wich, there are the energy and emviroment commitment.

On February 22, 2024, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) organized a conference (directly and online with localities) to deploy Vietnam's hydrogen energy development strategy until 2030 with a vision to 2050 approved by the Prime Minister (in Decision No. 165/QD-TTg dated February 7, 2024).

The October 27-28 Solar Show Vietnam 2022, which was held in the Adora center in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, successfully completed. Exhibitors on hand were given a visual feast of the intelligent hybrid inverters by Solis, one of the world’s largest and most experienced solar inverter manufacturers in the world, offering professional solutions for the development of photovoltaic (PV) in Vietnam.

Answering questions from international investors at the Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue 2022 (BETD 2022): What priorities should Vietnam identify to pave the way for more efficient coastal energy in the near future? Within the framework of the official visit of SRV President  to Russian Federation from June 28 to july 1, 2017, on June 29 afternoon in Moscow, Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang and Russian President Vladimir Putin approved Russia - Vietnam Joint Statement, in which two leader have agreed to continue cooperation in building the Nuclear Scientific and Technologic Center in Vietnam and support consistent implementing Vietnam – Russia cooperation program in use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes signed on May 23, 2017in Hanoi.
