With the outstanding successes of Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Group (Vinacomin) achieved in 2021 and good news as a favorable starting rightly from the early days of the Nham Dan Lunar New Year, all the employees of the Group with an encouraging emotional state achieved the outstanding successes rightly in the first quarter and in 2022.

On January 10, Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Trinh Dinh Dung attended the Conference to summarize the work of 2019 and deploy the tasks of 2020 of Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industry Group (Vinacomin). At the conference, the DPM assigned Vinacomin to carry out eight key tasks in 2020.

In recent ten years (2007-2017), since foundation date, the Party Committee of Vinacomin has promoted the spirit of initiative and creativity in leading, directing and organizing to successfully carry out all the assigned tasks.

The Binh Son Refining and PetroChemical JSC (BSR) completed several tasks for the year on November 23, 38 days earlier than planned. 

Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh has signed a decision to assign tasks for the leaders of MOIT.

The Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Trinh Dinh Dung has just signed a decision on approving the tasks of the national infrastructure planning project for gasoline and gas reserve and supply in period of 2021-2030, with a vision up to 2050.

On the afternoon of January 11, Prime Minister (PM) Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended Conference of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PVN) for summary of plan tasks in 2020 and deploying the tasks in 2021.

On Feb 1, 2016, in Hanoi, Petrovietnam held a conference to summarize restructuring work for the period of 2012-2015, tasks and measures for the period of 2016-2020. The conference aims to assess, review all aspects, from direction for equitization, divestment to re-organization the organizational structure and operation of the units under the Group.

In 2018, with a general object as "Safety - Innovation - Development" in 2018, Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited  (Vinacomin) will continue to operate the production in accordance with the market demand, rationally invest in sustainable development of coal, minerals, power, other industrial sector and as well as the appropriate support services; effectively implement the Sector Restructuring Project with a focus on technical restructure and technological innovation, etc…

With Vietnam set to become a net energy importer in the near future, renewable energy solutions such as solar power are becoming an urgent concern. Tran Van Thanh, executive director of the Vietnam Green Building Council, shared some of his insights into this sector with VIR.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh has just signed Decision No.1881/QĐ-TTg dated November 9, 2021 of the Prime Minister promulgating the List of key energy users in 2020. According to the Decision, the total number of the key energy users in 2020 in the country were 2,961, including 2,480 industrial, 13 agricultural, 80 transportation and 388 construction units.

The Prime Minister (PM) has promulgated the list of 3006 key energy users in the whole country by 2019. Accordingly, the total number of key energy users in 2019 Including 2,441 industrial, 15 agricultural, 84 transport and 466 construction units.

The Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) has surpassed its key financial targets for this year, thanks to the rise in petrol prices in October.
