The tasks of the national infrastructure planning project for gasoline and gas reserve and supply

In the decision, DPM recommends the content of this project must be fully suitable with requirement in the V item of II Appendix in Decree No 37/2019/NĐ-CP dated May 07, 2019 of the Government on stipulating in detail to carry out a number of provisions of planning Law including:

1. Overview of the actual status of conditions and factors affecting to the national infrastructure for gasoline and gas reserve and supply.

2. Assessing the actual status of distributing, using space of infrastructure for gasoline and gas reserve and supply  in Vietnam and the results of implementing relevant planning projects in previous period.

3. Assessing the industrial and regional links in the actual status of developing national infrastructure for gasoline and gas reserve and supply.

4. Forecasting trends and development scenarios of the natural, climate and climate change conditions directly affecting to the national infrastructure for gasoline and gas reserve and supply during the planning period.

5 .Defining requirements for the socio-economic development, opportunities and challenges for developing national infrastructure for gasoline and gas reserve and supply in the planning period.

6. Defining viewpoints, orientations and goals for developing national infrastructure for gasoline and gas reserve and supply in the planning period.

7. Defining projects on developing national infrastructure for gasoline and gas reserve and supply in the whole country and local territories in the planning period.

8. Orienting land use to develop national infrastructure for gasoline and gas reserve and supply, and activities to ensure safe fire prevention and fighting, environmental protection, cope with change climate and preserve the ecology, landscapes and national ranked vestiges.

9. Defining the list of the national important projects, the projects with an investment priority for developing infrastructure for gasoline and gas reserve and supply, and priority order for project implementation.

10. Defining solutions and resources for implementing the national infrastructure for gasoline and gas reserve and supply planning.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade is responsible for organizing for making the planning of national infrastructure for gasoline and gas reserve and supply in period of 2021-2030 with a vision up to 2050 with ensuring quality and progress schedule.

Ministries, agencies and People's Committees of provinces and cities, and relevant organizations are responsible to coordinate with the Ministry of Industry and Trade in the process of making planning in accordance with the provisions of the laws.
