Establishing the Council for appraising Power Development Planning VIII

The Members of the Appraisal Council include:
Representatives from Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Culture - Sports and Tourism; Representatives from: the State Bank of Vietnam, the State Committee of Capital Management in Enterprises, Electricity of Vietnam (EVN), Vietnam Oil and Gas (PVN), Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries (Vinacomin); Representatives from corporations: National Power Transmission (NPT), Electricity of Hanoi, Electricity of Ho Chi Minh City, Electricity of the North, Electricity of the Central region, Electricity of the South.
In particular, the Council includes a number of Experts with experience in PDP assigned by the Council Chairman on the basis of MOIT as the Standing Agency of Appraisal Council.
Responsibilities and powers of the Standing Agency of PDP Appraisal Council comply with Article 34 of the Government's Decree No 37/2019/ND-CP dated 7/5/ 2019.
The Appraisal Council is responsible for organizing PDP VIII appraisal in accordance with the law on planning.
The Council will operate on a part-time basis, terminate its operation and self-dissolve after the Prime Minister approving PDP VIII.
The decision takes effect from 24/2/2021.
