PV Drilling provides PVEP POC with a drilling rig

According to the contract, PV Drilling will provide PV DRILLING VI – a rig of the new generation which be manufactured from the early March, 2015 in Keppel Fels (Singapore) to serve the campaigns of PVEP POC exploratory drilling at Kinh Ngu and some other mines in two years and following long term period.

PVEP POC - a member unit of the PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP) is currently managing, implementing effective and safe exploitation at a number of mines under Vietnamese waters and has a lot of important contributions to the common success of PVEP.

At current situation, the fluctuation of oil price has a little  affected the petroleum market, especially, exploitation field. However, with the close combination between of two sides, PV Drilling believes that the management and operation of  PV DRILLING VI rig with a safety and high efficiency will bring a lot of realistic interests for the drilling campaigns of PVEP POC, the committing development schedule and maximum costs saving will be ensured.

In 2014, the rigs of PV Drilling had maintained a stable operation with a rather high efficiency of 99%.  

For the PV Drilling, supplementing the sixth rig to the Rig Fleet will meet a part of the 14-15 rig demand in Vietnam and promise to bring a good effect for it’s production and business activities in 2015.
