Shanghai, April 24, 2019-JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. (“JinkoSolar” or the “Company”) (NYSE: JKS), a reputable solar module manufacturer in the world, today announced that it has supplied 100MWof high efficient solar modules for the Srepok 1 and Quang Minh Solar Power Plant Complex, one of the Vietnam's largest solar power projects.

Dong Nai People's Committee has just submitted a document to the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) for considering and appraising 8 solar power projects to submit to the Prime Minister for additional approving these projects to the National Power Development Planning (NPDP) up to 2025.

The Minister of Industry and Trade has just issued Circular No. 18/2020 / TT-BCT to regulate development and model power purchase agreement (PPA) for the solar power projects (Circular 18).

The Government has approved an additional six solar power projects with a combined capacity of 850 MWp in Binh Phuoc, raising the total solar energy capacity of the southern province to the highest in the country.

According to the Decision 13/2020/QD-TTg (Decision 13), dated April 6, 2020 of the Prime Minister, on the incentive mechanism for solar power development in Vietnam officially coming into effect from the May 22, 2020 instead of Decision 11/2017/QD-TTg expiring on June 30, 2019, the rooftop solar power projects in coming time expect to be developed very strongly.

The Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) has just issued a Document No. 3450/EVN-KD, dated July 02, 2019 for guideline to solve the problems on the rooftop solar power projects (RSPPs).

On June 19, in Thanh Thanh Cong Industrial zone, An Hoi Hamlet, An Hoa Commune, Trang Bang District, Tay Ninh Province, Thanh Thanh Cong Group (TTC) and Gulf Energy Group (Thailand) organized the inauguration ceremony of TTC Solar Power Projects (SPPs) No. 1 and No. 2 with a total capacity of 118.8 MWp and an average output of 184 GWh per year.

As information from Electricity Of Vietnam (EVN), to the end of the September 2018, EVN has signed 35 power purchase agreements (PPAs) for the solar power projects with a total capacity of 2271 MW, from which Phong Dien solar power project (in Phong Dien district, Thua Thien-Hue province) with a capacity of 35 MW will be officially integrated to the power grid in the very beginning of the October/2028.

On Jan 5, Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Hoang Trung Hai chaired a meeting with the concerned ministries and agencies for  directing to set the mechanisms for supporting development of solar power projects (SPP) - a sector now being encouraged in investment to solve the clean energy problem and sustainable development.

The Decision No13/2020 / QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on mechanisms to encourage developing solar power in Vietnam (Decision 13 for short), effective from May 22, 2020 (replacing Decision 11/2017 / QD-TTg expired on June 30, 2019) made motive power for many businesses and households to complete installing the solar power systems previously connected to the national power system.
