These service contracts have an initial term of 10 years and Vietsovpetro assigns Petroleum Exploitation Enterprise directly operating Thien Ung rig to implement and manage them.
PVEP-POC and Vietsovpetro in turn are the operators of Dai Hung field, 05-1A Lot and Thien Ung, 04-3 Lot under Nam Con Son basin, Vietnam offshore
To perform the plans for Thien Ung field development and Dai Hung field gas collection, Vietsovpetro, recently has implemented design, material procurement, manufacture, installation and successful test run of the upper block of Thien Ung rig and Dai Hung gas compressor system – an important component of the overall project for receiving the first gas follow expected by November 2016.
The Thien Ung rig, besides its production activity, still also receives, compresses and treats gas from Dai Hung field, and then transports Thien Ung, Dai Hung gas together to Bach Ho field through Nam Con Son pipeline system for father treating before transporting it to Dinh Co Gas Processing Plant.
These service contracts have an initial term of 10 years and Vietsovpetro assigns Petroleum Exploitation Enterprise directly operating Thien Ung rig to implement and manage them.
It is expected that for ten year (up to 2026) implementation of the contracts, a volume of about 2.7 billion cubic meters of gas from Thien Ung - Dai Hung and the other neighboring fields will be transferred to the shore that contribute to meet gas growing demand in the country. The implementation of these contracts has an important role for deploying the first stage of Nam Con Son 2 project.
