Dung Quat Economic Zone lured 6 projects worth over $11 million

 - On November 14, at the headquarter of Doosan Heavy Industries in Busan, Korea, Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Tran Ngoc Cang and leaders of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Provincial Industrial Zones Authority (The Authority) had a working session with Doosan Heavy Industry Company and granted investment certificates to six Korean enterprises investing in Dung Quat Economic Zone, Quang Ngai province. This is event as part of the investment promotion chain of Quang Ngai Province in Korea, Doosan Vina is the bridge.

Total investment is more than US $ 11 million, with a total area of ​​65,022 m2 in Binh Thuan commune, Binh Son district, Quang Ngai province, include Samshin Company, Yoobong Company, Wookang Industry Company, Kwangjin Company, Hanbit ENG and Nasan Electric Industry Company.

Speaking at a meeting with Doosan, Tran Ngoc Cang said that the Doosan Vina heavy industry plant was the first FDI project in Quang Ngai province. Since October 20, 2006, the Doosan Vina Heavy Industry Project has been contributing to: the fundamental change in the GDP structure of the province in the direction of increasing the industrial density; increasing the budget revenue; solving many jobs for 2,500 provincial laborers and more than 1,000  workers in other provinces and cities in Vietnam.

Also at meeting, Chairman Tran Ngoc Cang awarded certificates of merit to Doosan Vina Heavy Industry Company in Dung Quat Economic Zone for his contribution over the past 10 years to Quang Ngai province.
