Doosan Vina Shipped Steel Structure to a Brunei Fertilizer Plant

Steel Structures are in fabrication for the Thyssenkrupp’s BFI fertilizer plant in Brunei
After contract was inked, the MHS shop of Doosan Vina started production on May 9th, 2019 and completed two shipments out of four. The first shipment including 32 tons was sent on June 14th and the second shipment of 122 tons was delivered on June 18th. As schedule, the third and the final shipments will be sent to the site on July 1st and August 15th of 2019.
The BFI plant occupies a total area of 55 hectares at the Sungai Liang Industrial Park, Kuala Belait, Brunei. After going to operation, the plant will be expected to produce 3,900 metric tons of urea per day, making it one of Southeast Asia’s largest fertilizer plants once it runs at full production capacity.
