Adjusting sites of Ninh Thuan Nuclear Power Plants

According to the Decision, the new site of Ninh Thuan 1 NPP in Vinh Truong village, Phuoc Dinh commune is extended to the Southwest backwards to mainland for 400 meters from the old site approved in 2010. The total using area of the project is 443.11 ha on the mainland and 440.57 ha on the sea
Ninh Thuan 1 NPP includes 4 reactors with a 1000 – 1200 MW installed capacity each, developed by two stages with 2 reactors in a stage. The foundation level of the project is anticipated as +12 (12 m above the sea level by the National Altitude System), and the last value will be exacted in approved Investment Project.
The new site of Ninh Thuan 2 NPP in Thai An village, Vinh Hai commune is expanded to the Southwest and backwards to mainland for 285 – 395 m in comparison with the old site approved in 2010. The total using area of the project is 380.91 ha on mainland and 377.63 ha on the sea. Ninh Thuan 2 NPP also includes 4 reactors with a 1000 – 1200 MW installed capacity each, developed by two stages with 2 reactors in a stage. The foundation level of the project is anticipated as +15, and the last value will be exacted in approved Investment Project.
