Doosan Vina supplies High Tech Pressure Vessels for Nghi Son Refinery

The NSRP project was signed on March 21, 2014 for total 169 pressure vessels, towers and heat exchangers that will be installed to help this plant to produce 200,000 barrels of crude oil per day once it’s put into operation in 2017.
In the items sent to Nghi Son Refinery Project, the largest tank was 5.7m in diameter, 50m long and weighed over 205 tons.
“This is the CPE’s biggest domestic project so far. To produce these high tech pressure tanks, we applied the most updated modern technology and after fourteen months in heavily manufacture, we have completed 93 per cent of the project. The project requires 10 shipments and the final one will be made in 09.2015”, said Phan Huong, CPE Project Manager.
