The Vietnam Lilama Corporation has successfully implemented high pressure test of boiler No2 of Thai Binh 2 Thermal Power Plant under witness and control of the experts from PetroVietnam.

On the morning of 23 February 2022, Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Le Van Thanh came to check the progress of the Thai Binh 2 Thermal Power Project (TPP). DPM welcomed the important milestone of the Thai Binh 2 TPP as the first igniting and considered that this is an important milestone for the project to finish in 2022.

In Hanoi, PetroVietnam Construction Joint Stock Corporation (PVC) the EPC contractor of Thai Binh 2 Thermal Power Project (TPP) held the ceremony for signing five important contracts under the completion stage Thai Binh 2 TPP.

At 11:30 a.m on August 13th 2016, in the construction site of Thai Binh 2 thermal power plant, LILAMA Corporation has conducted successfully pressure test (of Low Pressure Package) for Boiler 2 and finished pressure test (of High Pressure Package) for Boiler 1.

On the May 13 afternoon, at Thai Binh 2 Thermal Power Plant (TPP), the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) held a ceremony for successful synchronizing unit 1 of Thai Binh 2 TPP with the National Power System.

Petroleum Pipeline and Tank Construction Joint Stock Company (PVC-PT) has held a starting ceremony for the bidding package "Manufacture and installation of cooling water supplying and draining pipeline system " for Thai Binh 2 Thermal Power Project (TPP).

PetroVietnam Exploration and Production Corporation (PVEP) informed: the Project on Development the Thai Binh Gas Field, at 102-106 Lots of Song Hong Basin offshore Gulf of Tonkin under the PCOSB Operator has given the first commercial gas flow of a 5 million cubic feet per day output (1 cubic foot is equivalent to 0.028 cubic meter) from TB-1P Well.

On the ground of PVC-MS harbor, PetroVietnam Equipment Assembly and Metal Structrure Joint Stock Company (PVC -MS, stocks code: PXS) has successfully launched the Thai Binh exploiting rig base.

On January 21, 2015, in Thai Binh, the Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) in collaboration with Thai Binh Provincial People Committee (PPC) and PV Drilling (PetroVietnam) organized  the  Inauguration Ceremony of Thai Binh SOS Children's Village.
