Vinacomin has started up 440 MW TPP in Thai Binh province

- With agreement of Thai Binh provincial people’s committee, Vinacomin directed Vinacomin Power Corporation to develop the 440 MW coal-fired thermal power plant in Thai Binh thermal power center.
At present, Vinacomin Power Corporation is cooperating with Institute of Energy to survey and prepare the adjustment plan according to the Circular No 43/2013/TT-BCT of Ministry of Industry and Trade and at the same time take steps in the process of investment preparation for the project.
This project having a capacity equivalent to Cam Pha TPP (440 MW) being operated by Vinacomin Power Corporation in Quang Ninh province is in development strategy of Vinacomin approved by Prime Minister in Power development Planning VII.
