Signing contracts for perfecting Thai Binh 2 Thermal Power Project

The signing ceremony of 5 important contracts under the completion stage Thai Binh 2 TPP.

PVC is a main force unit of PVN in specialized and industrial construction field. With the more and more increasingly confirmed ability, PVC has been assigned by the Government and PVN to implement the great responsibility of the EPC contractor for many national key projects, including Thai Binh 2 TPP.

Thai Binh 2 TPP includes two supercritical units with a total capacity of 1,200 MW (2x600 MW)

Based on the assessment of the capacity and experience of contractors,  PVC has selected the following winning bidders which expect to be completed in IV quarter of 2018 and I quarter of 2019:

1. Thinh Phat Real Estate and Cable Joint-Stock Company as a contractor for "Supplying 10kV power cable and accessories from central controlling center to coolant water pump station";

2.Southern Hanoi Electric Material Trading Joint Stock Company  for "Supplying materials and auxiliary equipment types of the grounding network system of the TPP";

3.Euroha Joint Stock Company for "Supplying and installing glass and aluminum doors for the buildings";

4. Quan Son Trading and Construction JSC   for "Supplying and installing the iron and rolling doors for the buildings";

5 / PVC - MS company for package "Procurement, fabrication and installation of steel structures for a number of the project items.

The signing of the bidding packages in the perfecting stage of the Thai Binh 2 TPP is a positive sign of the commitment of PVN and PVC contractor to accelerate the completion of the Thai Binh 2 TPP. These are also the important steps for completing the plant and preparing for it’s test run it in 2019.
