Thai Binh LNG Gas Power Joint Stock Company - an enterprise established by the investor consortium to directly implement the Thai Binh LNG Thermal Power Plant project. The Thai Binh LNG Thermal Power Project with a total investment of about 2 billion USD and a total design capacity of 1,500 MW (including 2 units using gas combined cycle turbine technology with the highest efficiency today), the main fuel would be liquefied natural gas (LNG), located in Thai Do commune, Thai Thuy district. As expected, the project will start construction in the third quarter of 2025 and operate commercially before 2030.

At the ceremony, Mr. Vu Kim Cu, Director of the Thai Binh Department of Planning and Investment awarded the business registration certificate to the investor consortium of the Thai Binh LNG Thermal Power Plant project.

Up to now, Tokyo Gas has participated in more than 35 LNG-receiving terminal projects abroad, 20 LNG-receiving terminal projects in Japan and transferred professional experience and knowledge about LNG to countries worldwide.

Kyuden belongs to Kyushu Electric Power Company which was founded in 1951. The Charter capital of Kyushu is 2.2 billion USD, and now its total assets of more than 46.6 billion USD - among the Top 5 in developing power plants in Japan.

Vietnam Truong Thanh Joint Stock Company (TTVN Group) is a multi-industry business enterprise, in which the Group is developing clean energy projects as its strength and priority investment direction. Currently, TTVN Group has entered into a joint venture with many large corporations from Thailand and France to invest and successfully put into commercial operation 3 solar power plants, with a total capacity of 357 MWp in the provinces of Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen and Tra Vinh.

With the above achievements, TTVN Group ranked in the Top 10 leading clean energy enterprises in Vietnam in 2019 and 2020. Currently, TTVN Group continuously develops some new clean energy projects including the Thai Binh LNG Thermal Power Plant project.
