The third unit of Trung Son hydropower plant has synchronized with the National Power System just after the second one just for over a month.

On September 1, 2020, as scheduled, the Construction Enterprise (under Vietsovpetro - the Vietnam - Russia Joint Venture) successfully launched the superstructure of BK-21 Wellhead Rig at Bach Ho (White Tiger) field.

The Da Nhim- Ham Thuan- Da Mi Hydropower Joint Stock Company has informed that the Management Board of Da Nhim Hydropower Plant Extension Project in cooperation with the contractors has successfully installed  the rotor of a generator of Da Nhim Hydropower Plant Extension Project.

On September 29, 2020, in Quan The Hamlet, Phuoc Minh Commune, Thuan Nam District, Ninh Thuan Province, Trung Nam Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company (Trungnam Group) successfully energizing the first super high voltage project invested in Vietnam by private sector as 500 kV transformer substation with a capacity of 2x900 MVA and combined 500/220 kV transmission line (500kV and 220 kV lines on the same tower) with a length of 17 km for releasing power capacity of Trung Nam Thuan Nam solar power project with a capacity of 450 MW project

In the morning of April 3, 2020, at the manufacture yard of Vietsovpetro, the Oil and Gas Construction, Survey and Repair Enterprise (Construction Enterprise) held timely successful installing Panel Row A of BK-21 base at Bach Ho field.

Specialists from the National Research Institute for Mechanical Engineering - NARIME (Ministry of Industry and Trade) have successfully researched, designed and made a rotary heat recovery air dryer for boiler in coal-fired thermal power plant.

According to the  Vietnam Erection Corporation (Lilama), on May 22, at the Nghi Son Oil Refinery and Petrochemical Project, Lilama Erection  Mechanical  JSC (Lilama EMC) in cooperation with Nippon Express Company (NEX, Japan) successfully installed two reactor towers - SPM4  bidding package (AE00), with a total weight of nearly 900 tons.

On the May 13 afternoon, at Thai Binh 2 Thermal Power Plant (TPP), the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) held a ceremony for successful synchronizing unit 1 of Thai Binh 2 TPP with the National Power System.

At Nghi Son 2 Thermal Power Plant project (Hai Ha commune, Tinh Gia district, Thanh Hoa province), the general contractor and joint venture of contractors have successfully synchronized unit 1 into the national power sýtem. This event marks the efforts of the investor, general contractor and construction contractors to overcome difficulties in the complicated situation of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The 100% India investment KCP - Phu Yen Biogas Power Plant – phase I has been officially synchronized with National Power System.

Information from the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) said, on November 29, 2016, the Unit No2 of Xekaman Hydropower plant (HPP) No1 has successfully synchronized with national power system.

The unit #1 of Mong Duong TPP No1 (540MW) has  successfully synchronized to the National Power System with a 80MW highest available capacity for the first testing generation.

The Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) informed, unit No1 of the Song Bung 4 Hydropower Plant (HP) has been synchronized with the National Power System through Thanh My 500/220kV transformer substation.  

At 14:55 on March 24, 2021, at Thuong Kon Tum Hydropower Plant, Ngok Tem commune, Kon Plong district, Kon Tum province, Unit 1 of the Thuong Kon Tum Hydropower Plant (HPP) has successfully synchronized with the national system.

At 6 pm on June 16, 2021, EVN Repair Service Center (EVNPSC) in coordination with Hoa Binh Hydropower Company and related organizations successfully synchronized the unit No1 of Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant to the national power system after this unit stopping for repair and replacing a cable section from oil insulation to dry one with a length of 600 meters and a weight of 11 tons from 220 kV output of the step-up transformer of unit 1 to 220 kV transition substation.
