Unit 1 of Thuong Kon Tum Hydropower plant has been synchronized with the national power system

- At 14:55 on March 24, 2021, at Thuong Kon Tum Hydropower Plant, Ngok Tem commune, Kon Plong district, Kon Tum province, Unit 1 of the Thuong Kon Tum Hydropower Plant (HPP) has successfully synchronized with the national system.
Thuong Kon Tum Hydropower Project is invested by Vinh Son - Song Hinh Hydropower Joint Stock Company – VSH JSC (the associate of Power Generation Corporation 3).
The project including two units with a total capacity of 220 MW (2x110 MW), annual average output of 850 GWh locates on Dak Nghe River, and is the fifth cascade on Se San river system with a 17 km energy channel
With average output of 850 GWh per year, when being completed and put into commercial operation, Thuong Kon Tum HPP will contribute over 200 billion VND per year to Kon Tum provincial budget.
