The PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc welcomed Gulf Energy Development for investment in renewable energy, clean energy in Vietnam
At the meeting PM said: The Government of Vietnam always creates favorable conditions for foreign businesses to invest and trade in Vietnam. This is also one of the reasons that over time, many Thai businesses have entered Vietnam and invested in 492 projects with a total capital of $ 10 billion. Therefore, if Gulf Energy Development delays, then it will lose chances.
Emphasizing the policy of discouraging investment in coal-fired power plants, the Prime Minister welcomed the enterprises for investing in renewable and clean energies. Vietnam needs more abundant energy sources to meet the demand for economic development, therefore this is a very opportunity for Gulf Energy Development.
The PM also attracted Gulf Energy Development attention how to ensure a reasonable and competitive price in the situation when many enterprises are and will be investing in this sector.
The leader of Gulf Energy Development informed that the Group expects to continue investment in energy sector for contributing to increase the power supply for Vietnam as well as attract more investors in this sector. Besides, the Gulf Energy Development is still capable to supply hot water or cooling water for the industrial sector.
