Developing the Krong Pa Solar Power Project

The Krong Pa solar power project has a capacity of 49 MW and a total investment capital of VND 1,428 billion. This is one of 12 projects, the Investment MOU of which was signed at the Investment Promotion Conference in Gia Lai province on 18 December 2016. The project occupies an area of 76 ha in Chu Gu commune, Krong Pa district, Gia Lai province.
The project expects to be completed with a capacity of 35MW and a generation of 65.57million kWh/year at the end of the third quarter of 2018.As planned, when EPC contract comes into effect, JGC Vietnam will officially be the contractor for this project.
Once completed, the Krong Pa Solar Power Plant will contribute significally to economic growth, promote the socio - economic development of loclity, supplement the renewable energy sources for the national power system, and contribute to the common effort in environmental protection.
