VAEA-Westinghouse Agreement on the Information Confidence

Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan, Director of Vietnam Atomic Energy Agency and Mr. GARY T.Urquhart Representative of the Westinghouse Power Company in Vietnam.
It is a necessary step in contributing to strengthen cooperation and exchange of information on training and developing human resources for nuclear power projects between VAEA and Westinghouse PC.
The Agreement will facilitate the staffs of the VAEA to approach, in detail, the technologies and experiences of Westinghouse Power Company in building nuclear power plants, at the same time, open the opportunities for them to participate in training courses in many technical bases of the Westinghouse Company in USA as Pittsburgh base.
This cooperation plan is also appropriate with the framework of the Strategy of atomic energy applying for peaceful purpose up to 2030 of Vietnam and cooperation contents of the 123 Agreement that Vietnam and the United States signed in May 2014.
At the same day, Vietnam Agency for Radiation and Nuclear Safety (MoST) and US Westinghouse Power Company also signed an Agreement on Information Confidence.
