Cuba willing to welcome Vietnam petrolium investment

Deputy General Manager of PVN - Nguyen Quoc Thap gave General Manager of Cuba's state Oil Company - Cupet Juan Torres Naranj souvenir.

On this visit, Deputy General Manager Nguyen QUoc Thap and the business delegation of Petrovietnam worked with Cupet. At the meeting, the leaders of Petrovietnam affirmed the concern to the activities to explore and probe oil and gas in Cuba.

Petrovietnam expects that with the amended Law of Foreign Investment which has just published, in which the regulations are more favourable for Gas and Oil Field, will be the basis for the cooperation on Gas and Oil to be flourish, laying fundamental ground for Petrovietnam to report to Vietnam Government to be allowed to continue to participate in the projects of gas and oil in Cuba.

For Cupet, General Manager Juan Torres highly valued the partnership between two contries in general and between Cupet and Petrovietnam in particular. The Government of Cuba and Cupet showed great concern about the gas and oil relations to Vietnam and express their willing to receive particular projects from Vietnam in Cuba.

The leaders of Cupa alsao stated that they will keep providing adequate information, support experts in Gas and Oil therefore Petrovietnam can assess efficiently the documents related to the lot of gas and oil.

Both sides also agreed to recommend to hold the a conference of Gas and Oil potential of Cuba, expected to be taken place in 2014.
