In the first six months of 2023, Vinacomin provided nearly 22 million tons of coal for power generation

Vinacomin informed that, in the first six months of 2023, Vinacomin produced 20 million tons of raw coal, 25 million tons of commercial clean coal, scooped up 64 million m3 of soil and rock, and sold 25.3 million tons of clean coal... Especially, in the first 6 months of 2023, Vinacomin supplied over 21.16 million tons of coal for power production, reaching 55% of the year plan.

The turnover of Vinacomin in the first 6 months of 2023 reached 87 trillion VND 51.6 % of the year plan and 107% compared to the same period in 2022. The profits of Vinacomin were expected over 3,000 billion VND, reaching 60% of the year plan and equaling 150% of the same period in 2022. Paid to the State budget 17.6 trillion dong, and equaling 146%, an increase of 8,000 billion VND in comparison with the same period.

Vinacomin and its units strive to fulfill at the highest level the planned target in 2023. The Vinacomin task for the third quarter of 2023 will actively respond to weather conditions in the rainy season, and strive to produce and sell coal, mineral, chemical, and sale electricity products at the highest level to meet the demand under the signed contracts.

With the target, in the first 9 months of 2023, Vinacomin strives for some key targets to achieve at least 75% of the whole year plan (except for the target of stripping land and the target of producing and selling explosives due to the project to renovate and expand Cao Son Coal mine has not been licensed).

Accordingly, the raw coal will produce 10 million tons, 9 months will achieve 77% of the year plan, coal import with 2.8 million tons, 9 months will achieve 78% of the year plan, and coal sales with 12.2 million tons. Which, coal for power generation will be 9.85 million tons.
