Sembcorp and PTSC cooperate in developing energy infrastructure in Vietnam

Sembcorp is a leading provider of urban and energy solutions, with certain successes in Vietnam for over 25 recent years in 12 Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Parks (VSIP), spread throughout Vietnam provinces and cities.
PTSC - a PVN leading member unit of PVN is in Vietnam, with extensive experience in implementing domestic and international oil and gas projects. PTSC is actively participating in renewable and clean energy projects (such as wind and solar power projects). With more than 30 years of establishment and development, PTSC has enough capacity and experience to participate in energy projects and is a reliable and potential partner.
With the 50-year tradition of good relations between Vietnam - Singapore, PVN and Sembcorp had friendly and open exchanges about new cooperation opportunities in the energy field and PTSC is assigned by PVN to implement the initiatives in cooperation with Sembcorp.

To realize the goals discussed between the two sides, under the witness of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassadors of Singapore in Vietnam and of Vietnam in Singapore, and representatives of the government, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Singapore... Sembcorp and PTSC signed an MOU on renewable energy development, cross-border electricity trading, low carbon solutions (such as hydrogen, and ammonia), energy storage systems, smart grids and support/participation in developing LNG infrastructure projects in Vietnam.
Witnessing and speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hung Dung said: The signing of the MOU today creates a premise for developing the cooperation between the two groups and their units in the near future.
After the signing ceremony, the PVN mission visited Sembcorp's information management area for renewable energy projects in countries around the world. Here, Sembcorp introduced the projects that they implemented and are implementing in nations around the world.
