Starting the EPC package No7 of Vang Danh 2 Coal Screening Plant Project

EPC package No 7 of the Vang Danh 2 Coal Screening Plant to make a main technological productive chain, with a VND 525.5 billion total value, invested by the  mechanism of appointing Vinacomin subsidiaries as a  consortium of contractors including Machinery Manufacturing Joint Stock Company; Mining and Industrial Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company; Institute of Mechanical Energy and Mining; and Environmental Company under EPC package form.

The package is implemented within 510 days and  expected to be complete in the first quarter of 2016, the warranty period is 18 months.

Speaking at the Starting Ceremony, the Chairman of Vinacomin Member Council Mr. Le Minh Chuan emphasised:  The Vang Danh 2 coal screening Plant Project has an important meaning in the development strategy of the Group for meeting coal demand of the economy and ensuring energy security of the country.

Vang Danh 2 Coal Screening Plant Project investor is by Vang Danh JSC. The project has a 24.5 ha area for constructing land and a 63.3 ha for discharging ground   at zone No 9, Vang Danh ward, Uong Bi city and a 2 million tons per year design capacity.

The plant uses basically domestic and Vinacomin self-productive equipment with the level 1 and level 2 screening technology to satisfy processing coal sorts  with a quality to agree the Vietnamese Standard TCVN 8910-2011, mainly for domestic demand as electricity, cement and other industries…and a part of piece coal for export.
