24 businesses awarded for energy management in industries and buildings

- The Ministry of Industry and Trade recently gave four first prizes, four second prizes, eight third prizes and eight consolation prizes to 24 business winners of the 2013 Energy Management in Industries and Buildings contest.

The first Effective Energy Management prize went to the Toto Vietnam Co., Ltd., the first Creative Energy Management prize went to the Sao Vang Rubber Joint Stock Company, and two remaining first prizes went to the Savico Megamall and MobiFone buildings.
Last year 100 industrial and building businesses applied for the awards of which 42 were judged for the awards.
Businesses have developed 461 energy efficiency projects which have saved 22,650 TOE and almost VND537 billion and reduced carbon dioxide emissions by 59,100 tonnes.
