Leadership remarks: A shared commitment to green manufacturing
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Kim Si Jung, General Director of Changshin Co., Ltd., emphasized that the development of renewable energy is a long-term strategic direction aimed at meeting increasingly stringent environmental standards from international markets and partners. He noted that Changshin will prioritize solutions that reduce reliance on conventional energy sources, accelerate green transformation, and contribute meaningfully to sustainable development in Vietnam.
Representing SPEV Sustainability, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phat, General Director, stated that the project goes beyond a commercial agreement. It reflects a long-term commitment to accompany Changshin in reducing carbon emissions and moving toward carbon neutrality and coal neutrality. He added that SPEV will work closely with the factory owner and the EPC contractor to ensure on-schedule delivery, technical quality, and safe operations throughout the project.
Phased rollout: From 1.25MWp to more than 30MWp
Under the agreement, the project will begin with an initial capacity of 1.25MWp. Based on implementation outcomes and Changshin’s renewable energy development roadmap, the parties have agreed to expand the project to more than 30MWp across Changshin Vietnam’s facilities in subsequent phases.
This phased approach enables the company to optimize investment and operational efficiency while building a strong foundation for scaling up clean electricity adoption across the entire system. The project is expected to make a meaningful contribution to carbon reduction and long-term emissions neutrality goals.
Nuriflex Vietnam: EPC contractor with a vision for an Energy IoT platform
As the EPC general contractor, Nuriflex Vietnam Co., Ltd. will be responsible for overall project execution, including technical coordination and construction in accordance with project requirements. Beyond rooftop solar deployment, Nuriflex is also pursuing a long-term strategy centered on data analytics technology and an energy IoT platform.
From a technology perspective, Nuriflex is undergoing a strong transformation from software development toward operating an Energy IoT platform through its Factory Energy Management System (FEMS), which enables real-time monitoring and optimization of factory power consumption. At the same time, the company is advancing the Virtual Power Plant (VPP) model, aiming to connect distributed energy resources and enable centralized dispatch through a data-driven management and analytics platform.
In terms of operational capacity, Nuriflex is currently involved in operations and maintenance (O&M) for more than 100MWp of solar power capacity in Vietnam. This experience has helped the company develop strong on-the-ground expertise in renewable energy operations and energy efficiency management for manufacturing facilities.
Through partnerships at the industrial park level, Nuriflex aims to build a digitized energy network and expand smart energy management models for factories in Vietnam and across the region.
The collaboration between SPEV Sustainability, Changshin Dong Nai, and Nuriflex Vietnam is expected to become an effective partnership model that helps accelerate renewable energy adoption in the manufacturing sector.
The March 5, 2026 signing also marks the starting point of Changshin Vietnam’s large-scale energy transition plan, aimed at improving production efficiency, meeting ESG standards, and contributing positively to sustainable development./.
