EVN speeds up to develop Rooftop PV solar projects

The requirements of EVN to the relevant are as follow:

1.For GENCOs and Generation units under EVN

According to the survey results of the units, the total effective potential of rooftop PV solar power projects of the GENCOs and the power generation units under EVN is 22,217 kWp.

The Group asks the units to accelerate installing this capacity with a latest completion date in the first quarter of 2020 instead the date of December 31, 2020 (showed at EVN document No 2641/EVN-KD on May 23, 2019).

2.For the units under EVN Power Corporations

As the reports, by June 30, 2019, the total installed capacity of PV solar projects of the units was 11,325 kWp equal to 40.4% of a total their potential capacity of 28,000 kWp that EVN required to be completely installed before June 30, 2019. So EVN requires the units to proactively allocate capital, speed up the implementation progress and complete to install the 59.6% remaining capacity before December 31, 2019.

3.For the customers

As the reports of EVN units, by June 30, 2019, a total capacity of rooftop PV solar projects installed by the customers was 154.6 MWp. EVN asks the Power Corporations to speed up further communication and propaganda on rooftop PV solar projects, connecting the customers with the equipment suppliers, creating the most favorable conditions for customers to connect their projects with EVN power grids and signing PPA for the rooftop PV solar projects. Striving, by the end of 2019, the installation capacity of the rooftop PV solar projects of the customers to reach twice the planned capacity assigned to the units.

EVN asks the units to urgently implement above requirements, in case if any problems, the unit must report EVN to resolve.
