The Groundbreaking ceremony of Korea -Tra Vinh WPP.
Korea-Tra Vinh WPP (stage 1) with a capacity of 48 MW and total investment of $130 million occupies a total area of more than 1,210 ha, including 1,209 ha of water surface and 2,14 ha of mainland.
The project includes 24 wind turbine towers and concrete bridges connecting these towers on the sea; project management and operation area on mainland, including power house, workshop, transformer substation and power transmission line to Duyen Hai (Tra Vinh) transformer substation...
The project expects to be completed and put into operation in Feb. 2017 with a generation of over 173 GWh per year.
The project has an important significance not only in increasing revenue for local budget and employment for local labors but also in developing renewable and clean energy sources for contributing to minimize environmental impact.
