During the meeting with the Chairman of EVN, Deputy General Director of TBEA Sun He Cheng sowed a general introduction to the development of TBEA in recent years, proposed programs to promote bilateral cooperation and develop a complete product chain necessary for power transmission (including distribution equipment, medium and low voltage cabinets, secondary equipment, etc.) to support the power system of EVN.
Mr. Sun He Cheng said that the TBEA highly values the good relationship with EVN, and expressed his hope that in the coming time, the two sides will continue to expand cooperation on high-quality and reliable electrical equipment products.
The EVN Chairman Dang Hoang An highly appreciated TBEA's development strategy following the global energy transition trend with a complete product chain in the field of power transmission. At the same time, he shared some suggestions on TBEA's future product development for practical application in the Vietnamese market.
TBEA Hengyang (China) operates in more than 70 countries, including Vietnam. TBEA is an enterprise specializing in the production of ultra-high voltage transformers, providing complete power transmission solutions.
It is known that TBEA has to invest a plan in Vietnam to supply products for the industrial chain and equipment of the electricity industry.
Previously (September 20), EVN Deputy General Director Nguyen Xuan Nam worked with the missions of the European Commission (EU) and the European Investment Bank (EIB).
At the meeting, the missions shared information about the EU's "Global Gateway" strategy and the possibilities for cooperation with Vietnam in general, as well as EVN in particular.
The two sides also discussed the progress and challenges in implementing the Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP) co-chaired by the EU and the UK on behalf of the International Partnership Group (IPG).
The EU and EIB highly appreciated the cooperation with EVN over many years as a reliable partner and expressed great interest in the Bac Ai Pumped Storage Hydropower Plant project.

The "Global Gateway" strategy is an EU initiative, announced in 2021, to promote smart and safe connections in the digital, energy, transport, health and education sectors in worldwide. This is also an important step by the EU to enhance connectivity, strengthen the global supply chain, quickly recover from the Covid-19 epidemic, and support partners for sustainable development./.
