As we all know, the transportation and installation of wind power equipment must go through many stages and must be carefully calculated to ensure the transportation is safe and on schedule.
According to the engineers, before starting transportation, a road survey shall be carefully carried out following the implementation steps. Specifically:
1/ Prepare plan for road survey.
2/ Prepare Plan for clearing obstacles, widening corners, adjust and straightening road, adjust road alignment to avoid steep slopes.
3/ Prepare calculation sheet and audit bridges on route (to have reinforcement measures for weak bridges).
4/ Explain the transportation plan to the Directorate for Roads.

The survey process of transportation support options requires a lot of support from competent authorities. Since these are all over-size and over-weight devices, blades are from 68m to 86m long, weighing from 20 to 25 tons; each wind power tower is from 105m - 135m high, weighs 50 - 90 tons and is divided into sections, each section is from 13m to 35m long; the height of packages is from 5.6 to 6.1 m (including trailers) when transporting by road.

Accordingly, the safety requirements for using these cranes are very strict. The wind turbines installation is divided into two parts: the mechanical part and the electrical part. With favorable weather conditions and all materials and equipment are gathered at the construction site, depending on the type of turbine and the manufacturer's installation process, the progress for installation and completion of the mechanical part is from 4 - 7 days and the electrical part is from 3 - 5 days.
