ATZ Solutions and GETEX Energy at Wood Tech & Low-Carbon Forestry Conference

Representatives attending the conference “Advancing Science and Technology for High-Value Wood Products and Transforming the Forestry Sector through Low-Carbon Pathways,” organised by Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry.

The conference gathered scientists, government agencies, businesses, and international organisations to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and discuss technological solutions, while exploring opportunities for cooperation in sustainable forestry and Vietnam’s emerging forest carbon market. Notable speakers included Professor Andrew Lowe (University of Adelaide, Australia), Professor Pham Thu Thuy (Flinders University, Australia), Ms Tran Hong Nhung (Flinders University, Australia), and Dr. Rebecca Pearse (Carbon Neutral, Australia), among others. Their insights underscored the global significance of Vietnam’s forestry transition and highlighted solutions for a low-emission future.

ATZ Solutions Showcases Valmet’s Zero-Emission Technology

ATZ Solutions presented Valmet’s Zero Emission Technology for the pulp and paper industry. The presentation, delivered by Mr Nguyen Anh Quan, Project Manager at ATZ Solutions and Representative of Valmet Vietnam, emphasised how advanced technologies can reduce emissions, enhance resource efficiency, and drive sustainable forestry. These innovations contribute to increasing the value of wood products while accelerating Vietnam’s transition toward a low-carbon economy.

Through their participation in this conference, ATZ Solutions Co., Ltd, GETEX Energy Corporation, and Valmet Oy reaffirmed their commitment to advancing sustainable practices in forestry and related industries. The event underscored the importance of science-based solutions and international collaboration as key drivers in developing a sustainable and low-emission forestry sector in Vietnam, thereby opening up new opportunities for adopting technologies that will help reduce carbon emissions in the future.
