Siemens Vietnam and AIT launch SIVACON S8, accelerating Vietnam’s energy digitalization

Designed for high-end applications such as data centers, aviation and port operations, LNG power systems, high-speed rail, energy facilities, and industrial projects, SIVACON S8 delivers advanced digital capabilities, maximum safety, and reliable power distribution. The product reflects both companies’ shared vision for sustainability, energy efficiency, and world-class engineering made in Vietnam.

Adding depth to the program, experts from Siemens Digital Industries presented insights into Siemens Simcenter, digital twin technology, and simulation solutions. These tools play a critical role in improving the energy efficiency of next-generation data centers amid rising AI and cloud-computing demands. By enabling virtual modelling and thermal simulation, digital twin solutions can optimize design and operation, helping data centers achieve significant results - up to 38% energy savings, 24% cost reduction, and improved Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE). These innovations will support the development of greener digital infrastructure in Vietnam and contribute to global sustainability commitments.

Alongside the product launch, Siemens and AIT co-hosted the seminar “Driving Energy Transition and Future of Vietnam’s Energy Landscape,” bringing together policymakers, industry leaders and energy experts. Discussions focused on the opportunities and challenges of Vietnam’s energy transition under the updated National Power Development Plan VIII, including securing energy supply, attracting investment, and expanding clean energy to meet the national Net Zero 2050 target.
