Doosan Vina's revenue exceeded 14% in 2014

 - At the year-end summation meeting today morning , Doosan Vina informed that, in 2014 the total exports reached 25,000 tons of high-tech equipment "Made in Vietnam" with a value of nearly 4.3 trillion VND or $200 million, production capacity reached 106% and the company exceeded the revenue plan by 14%.

 

In 2014 Doosan Vina signed 41 new contracts that included eight for power plant boilers, three for Heat Recovery Steam Generators, nine for cranes and structural steel projects, eight for desalination and/or mega water pipelines, 12 for Chemical Processing Equipment and an EPC contract for the Vinh Tan IV thermal power plant.  Completed a total of 27 projects: seven were Boiler Shop projects, Four came out of the Heat Recovery Steam Generator Shop, Two from the Material Handling Systems Shop, Water Shop completed four desalination and ten projects were completed by the Chemical Processing Equipment Shop.

Shipments went to nine countries around the world including Chile, Germany, Thailand, Turkey, Libya, Malaysia, Algeria, India and Saudi Arabia. In addition to the international clients, tons of Key Mechanical Products (KMP) needed for Vietnamese infrastructure projects like the Mong Duong II Power Plant, the Port of Da Nang and several others were also delivered to domestic customers.

In 2015 is expected to see exports grow by 15% producing another round of increases and improvements at the company.

During 2014 were the completion of our ASME Nuclear Equipment Supplier Certification which now enables us to supply the highly critical equipment used in the nuclear power industry.

An highly noteworthy event was that the Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) recognized Doosan Vina with a first place award for its outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility or CSR programs at a Hanoi banquet in December that was attended by government, business and community leaders, His Excellency, Jeon Dae Joo Korean Ambassador to Vietnam presented Hang Ha Ryu, Senior Vice President of DHI and CEO of Doosan Vina with the Korean MOTIE 1st place CSR award. Since commencing operations in 2009 Doosan Vina has spent almost $5.5 million on its CSR programs.
