Starting the construction of Duyen Hai - My Tho 500kV transmission line project

 The Starting Ceremony for construction of Duyen Hai - My Tho 500kV line Project.

The Duyen Hai - My Tho 500kV project was assigned to the EVN NPT Southern Power Project Management Board as a manager and director. The project will be  constructed in order to connect and transmit power from the Duyen Hai Power Center to the National power system; power the national focusing economic zones in the Southern area; increase transmission capacity, meet the power demand for Southern provinces and create a stable and reliable system linkage between the Power Centers and  load areas.

The Duyen Hai - My Tho 500kV double circuit line project will pass through the provinces as Tra Vinh, Vinh Long, Ben Tre and Tien Giang with a 113.235 km length and a VND 3,000 billion total investment. In which, there are 5 construction packages undertaking by: Vietnam Electric Construction Joint Stock Company; Electric Installation Joint Stock Company No1, Limited One Member Electric Installation Company No2; Limited One Member Electric Installation Company No4; and Corporation of Song Da 11 Joint Stock Company and Song Da 11 – Thang Long Limited One Member Company.

The project is scheduled for completion and energizing in the third quarter of 2016 (synchronously with progress of putting into operation the Unit No1 of Duyen Hai III Power Thermal Plant).
