The first fire for the boiler of Unit 2 of Song Hau 1 thermal power project

Previously, at the end of July 2020, the first fire for the boiler of the Unit 1 of Song Hau 1 TPP was successful. And currently, all the necessary conditions have been implemented for synchronizing (by oil) this unit in this November. Besides, the 500 kV distribution yard of Song Hau Power Center and the main transformer of Song Hau 1TPP have been complemented and 500 kV Song Hau – Duc Hoa (Long An province) transmission line (first phase) also has been powered.
The success of the first fire for boiler of Unit 2 is a condition for Song Hau 1 investor and Lilama to check quality of the boiler and auxiliary system, and ensure technical conditions for deploying and improving trial run and the next important milestones for the project.
After the success of the first fire for boiler of Unit 2 of Song Hau 1 TPP, the oil-burning process will be maintained with the aims to clean the steam pipelines of the boiler, align auxiliary equipment (boiler blower, water supply pump, water cooling system ...), for synchronizing the units with the national power system.
In accordance with the direction of the Government, Unit 1 and Unit 2 of Song Hau 1 TPP will be completed and put into commercial operation, respectively in the second and the third quarters of 2021.
