The turnover of TKV in 2022 expects to reach a record-high level

TKV informed that, in the first 9 months of 2022, TKV continued to achieve good results in production and business with the main targets being completed in the timely planned schedule and growth in comparison with the same period of the last year.
In concretion: The turnover of the Group is estimated at 121,587 billion VND, equaling 92.4% of the year plan and 122.3% of the same period in the last year. In which, the turnover for coal reached VND 73,471 billion, equaling 98.1% of the year plan and 123.7% of the same period in the last year; turnover for mineral reached VND 18,548 billion, up 44.8% of the same period… TKV has paid VND 16.02 trillion to the State budget, equaling 88% of the year plan and 121% of the same period…
In the first 9 months of 2022, TKV mined 30.51 million tons of raw coal, reaching 78% of the year plan, equaling 103% of the same period of the last year; excavated 115.8 million m3 of grave soil, reaching 69% of the year plan and equaling 95% of the same period; dug 188,118 m of the underground blazers, reaching 73% of the year plan, equaling 101.5% of the same period; sold 35.84 million tons of coal, reaching 83.4% of the year plan and equaling 107% of the same period…
The number of employees of the whole TKV Group currently is 94,064, a decrease of 470 people compared to the beginning of the year; in which the underground block was reduced by 28 people, the open-air block reduced by 230 people, and the remaining units reduced 212 people. The average salary is 14.42 million VND/person/month, equaling 106% of the plan; in which coal mining is 15.03 million VND/person/month, equaling 106% of the plan.
In the fourth quarter of 2022, TKV should strive to produce 10 million tons of raw coal, reach 40.5 million tons for 2022 whole year, reaching 103.6% of the plan, import in the fourth quarter 1.6 to 2 million tons and in the whole year 4.7 to 5.1 million tons, reaching 100% plan, sold 11.16 million tons of coal for the fourth quarter and 47 million tons of coal for the whole year, reaching 109% of the plan...
To achieve the above goals, TKV will focus on solutions to balance coal production and import in the fourth quarter of 2022 to ensure the coal inventory level of the Group is at least 6 million tons, to meet the coal demand of thermal power plants from the beginning of 2023.
At the same time, TKV will continue to monitor the world coal prices, and manage the coal price for domestic consumers by the market mechanism, taking into account the price stabilization in order to join hands with the Government to curb inflation, promote domestic production - business; assess the demands of coal users, the early forecast the market in 2023 to adjust the coal consumption plan in 2022 and make a coal consumption plan in 2023.
