Vinacomin exploits coal with a high level

In four first months 2022, Vinacomin exploited 14.93 million tons of crude coal equal to 38% year plan, increasing 10% in comparison with production in the same time of the last year, sold 15.68 million tons, equal to 38% year plan increasing 12% in comparison with sold coal volume of 2021, coal for electricity was 11.7 million tons, equal to 33% year plan, increasing 2% and 300 thousand tons in comparison with electricity supply coal volume in the same time of the last year.
Producing minerals in four months reached: alumina as 495.6 equivalent tons, equal to 38% year plan, increasing 6% in comparison with the same time in the last year; copper plate as 10,488 tons, equal to 35% YP and up 133% over the same period; the electricity generation, chemistry, industrial explosives finalized with over 34% YP. Average salary of a labor was 13.8 million VND/person-month; the total turnover reached 47,879 billion VND, 36% YP; payment to state budget 5.880 billion VND up 8% over the same period.
In particular, in April, Vinacomin employees were honored to welcome General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and the central delegation to visit and work. This was a great encouragement for Vinacomin to continuously strive to well complete the tasks in the coming time.
According to the Vinacomin General Director Dang Thanh Hai: domestic demand for coal is still very high, especially coal for electricity production in the peak months of the hot season.
Therefore, it is necessary to continue to organize well the emulation movements for production and at the same time strengthen the mixing and processing works to increase the coal supply to the market and fulfill the targets of raw coal production of 4 million tons; coal sale of 4.99 million tons, among which domestic sale of 4.7 million tons.
